Clueless (Dwalin x fem!hobbit reader)
Dwalin couldn't get his head around just how charming you were. Like your brother Bilbo, you were genuinely kind and tender-hearted and your intelligence had already gotten the Company out of more scraps than he could count. Dwalin found you utterly adorable, particularly when you got flustered which happened quite a bit when the Durin brothers poked fun. Shortly into the journey, Dwalin asked his brother's advice on courting you and he did everything Balin had told him. You were completely clueless however. At least until you arrived in Rivendell.
After supper that evening, you were laughing along with the Company when Dwalin got up with a

Dwalin x Faerie!Reader - Guardian Faerie
Sorry if Dwalin is OOC, he doesn’t talk much and I wanted to add some character D:
[F/n] - first name
[H/l] - hair length, [H/c] - hair color, [E/c] - eye color, [F/c] - fave color, [F/t] - fave tree, [F/f] - fave flower
FYI: your favorite tree is your last name.
[F/n] was bound to be a weird faerie. She was born from a [f/t], and her coloring was... weird. [H/c] hair with [e/c] eyes. Not to mention she grew out/cut her hair, and how it just looked way off from the other faeries. And her [f/c] wings, the other faeries thought she has a disease because of the weird color!... But, she didn’t care. [F/n] loved being diff

The night was cold, and with the wind sucking away any kind of heat, it was hard to sleep comfortably. Not even the roasting fire in the center of the slumbering group was enough. Perhaps it actually was, since most of the group had no trouble falling asleep. But Thorin hadn't slept a wink since he laid down, his body rejecting the heat of the fire stubbornly. He was wide awake, unable to close his dry eyes unless he wished for them to sting.
Instead of resting, he watched the stars. Undoubtedly fascinated when one shot across the night sky. How he never noticed the beauty of the night sky is a mystery. He w

Dancing In Rivendell (Kili x Reader)
You sat down next to Kili and smiled as he took in the sky blue dress the elves had given you to wear. “Y/N, y-you look beautiful!” he stuttered.
“Thank you Kili!” you said with a giggle. None of the dwarves had ever stuttered in front of you before, probably because they thought of you as one of the boys. You always goofed around with them and you were just as skilled in combat, plus you never wore dresses.
After receiving a few more compliments you and the rest of the company were given your meal, it was salad and the dwarves were not happy. They complained so much it was as if they thought a lettuce leaf would kil

A 'Harmless' Prank (Thorin x Reader)
You sighed deeply and took in the beautiful sight of the setting sun reflecting on the river you were standing in front of. It had been a long day of walking and running and well journeying with the company and when Thorin had decided to make camp near a river you decided it would be the perfect opportunity for you to take a much needed bath. You stripped down your clothes and put a toe in the water, it was surprisingly warm. You waded in until only your upper body could be seen and then let your (h/l) (h/c) hair out of the metal clasp you kept it in. You felt it tickle your back and with a pleasant smile you waded deeper until only your hea

(Thorin x Reader) Advice From the Knowlegable
“D’you know what he wants this time? I was in the middle of the forge and Dwalin comes in, managing to knock over four of my current projects and tell me I’m wanted.” Kili groans sidling along his brother a scowl apparent on his boyish features. Fili sighs walking with heavy footsteps.
“I know. Mother came to collect me and tips my candle over and now I’ve lost the declaration of goods I was meant to deliver to Dain. I love the woman but honestly she’s ridiculously clumsy.” He had bags under his eyes from the lack of sleep and excessive amount of stress. Guess he had another all nighter to pull

Thorin x Reader : Stand On Your Own
You sat on the roof of one of the villagers’ houses in Dale taking in the view of Erebor. The sun was shining down on you with the sounds of the bustling city to accompany it; it was on days like these where you would have been content with just lying there, doing nothing. Unfortunately, the folk of Durin would wonder where you were if you stayed for too long; the reason for this was that they decided to take you in after your parents went missing when you were in your mid-teens. You already knew the Kings grandson well so you didn't have to worry too much at being introduced to strangers with him around. You never knew what happened to

A/N: Battle Of The Five Armies Spoilers!
I apologise for none of this because I am still suffering the aftermath of this movie.
“Fili, Kili – I need you both to scout the lower tunnels.” Thorin instructed and received nods from both his nephews. He was about to continue but (y/n) had intervened,
“Thorin, I think I should go.” She said. Thorin opened his mouth to refuse only to be cut across by (y/n) again.
“I’m quick and quiet, and I know Ravenhill off the top of my head.” She told him in order to strengthen her argument.
“We’re running out of time.” Dwalin grumbled as he l
